Content policy

Our content policy describes the kinds of material we publish, the kinds we decline, and how we handle user-submitted content.

Last updated 2026-06-04

What we publish

  • Original naming guides, frameworks, and worked examples.
  • Generator output created by the user in their own session.
  • Curated lists of public brand names for educational analysis.
  • Industry research drawn from our internal naming corpus.

What we decline

  • Trademark-infringing names presented as available.
  • Hateful, harassing, or discriminatory naming content.
  • Names that impersonate real people without consent.
  • Content that exists primarily to manipulate search rankings.
  • Affiliate-driven reviews that misrepresent a product to earn commission.

User-submitted content

Names generated in a user's browser session are not stored on our servers unless the user explicitly saves them to an account. Saved names are private to the account that created them and are never used as training data.
