Copyright & Creative Ownership Guide

This guide explains how creative ownership works between you, NameGeneratorTools.com, and the world — in plain English.

You own your original creative work

Original creative work you develop — taglines, manifestos, brand stories, copy, identities — belongs to you. NameGeneratorTools.com does not claim ownership of the names you select or the brand concepts you build.

Limited operational license

To provide the platform, we need a narrow, non-exclusive license to process and display content you submit (for example, to render a saved name back to you in your workspace). This license exists only to operate features you request and ends when you delete the content or your account.

Platform IP

Platform code, design, copy, curated datasets, editorial frameworks, and proprietary tooling remain the property of Relationale LLC or its licensors. Generator output produced from your inputs is not platform IP.

Caveats

Copyright generally does not protect short names or phrases. Brand protection typically comes through trademark and trade-dress regimes — see the Trademark & IP Guide.
